Something Old, Something New

This piece was commissioned by my aunt. The project involved taking a child's necklace that once belonged to her sister and expanding it to fit an adult. I added turquois nuggets and hill tribe silver beads and a toggle clasp. I don't do stringing work very often, so I was pleased with the way this turned out.

Red and Gold

The fire leaf earrings were a birthday present for my aunt. Unfortunately, the silverlined and translucent beads resisted my attempts to photograph them. The gold and red transition in the fringe is a color theme I want to play with more in the future.
